Dress and Grooming

Observe basic standards of cleanliness, modesty, and good grooming. Dress in a manner that neither disrupts the educational process, nor poses a safety hazard.  No hoodies nor hats are to be worn. No earrings worn by males.

Dress Code for Dances

All school dances require a special dress code maintaining the standards of cleanliness, modesty and good grooming. There are only three options when it comes to dances; Formal, Semi-Formal and Dress Casual:
  • Formal – Tuxedo and Formal Gowns
  • Semi-Formal – Suits or Sports Jackets with ties, dress slacks and dress shoes, dresses
  • Dress Casual – Dress slacks, shirts and shoes, dresses, skirts or dress slacks with dress blouses and shoes.
Clothing that is inappropriate for dances include, but is not limited to, work boots, gym shoes, jeans, jean skirts, sweat suits, sweat pants, sweat shirts and athletic jerseys. Students will not be allowed to attend dances unless they are dressed appropriately.
